Here’s a fascinating infographic created by TopAccountingDegrees.org that a friend of mine (shout out to Elizabeth Pla) shared with me today. It depicts the “war” between Netflix and Blockbuster over the past 17 years. Surprisingly, Blockbuster’s sales had already begun its decline when Netflix started up. It also proves that it wasn’t Netflix but a series of bad business decisions that led to the former industry giant’s collapse. The bottom line is that Blockbuster dug its own grave.
